After many past threats, I guess it’s time to finally get off Arc.

My head needs some clearing, so taking a break from CDN/S3 troubleshooting and primarily working on some smaller Pika things this week.

Getting CloudFront/S3 to be responsive and consistently hitting its cache may be the death of me. Wishing I could go back in time and start with Cloudflare, but is the grass really greener?

I’d like to try Monarch, but I just assume it will be bought and run into the ground at some point. And so I don’t.

Real world experiences with Lemon Squeezy vs Paddle? Pika needs to move from Stripe to a merchant of record vendor. If it’s a coin flip, I would assume migrating to Lemon Squeezy will be easier since it’s a Stripe company.

Trying to understand how this Render.com edge cache offering isn’t a server bomb waiting to happen. The entire cache is purged on every deploy. Seems you’d need to be provisioned as if you have no caching at all?

Spent a lot of time this week revamping Pika’s image handling. It hasn’t fully landed yet. Hopefully this behind-the-scenes work can be out to customer sites next week, though. Long overdue…thankful for customers’ patience.
