Just installed all the software that came with my KORG minilogue xd. Hoo, boy, was that a painful process. I’ll also probably never use any of it…I’m curious if I’ll ever sit down and figure out anything with this cool machine. A first synthesizer is daunting!

I just spent 40 minutes on the phone scheduling phone battery replacement appointments with someone struggling with a software system. It would be about 400% easier if a) I was allowed to call the actual department that does the work or b) they wrote things on a piece of paper and handed it to them.

I’d like to try an integrated AI coding experience for a month. So far I just chat through Cody in my IDE, which has been useful. But trying something like www.anthropic.com/claude-co… for refactoring and similar tasks sounds interesting. What’s your fave? Have you compared it to others?
